Harmon went to college to become a Recording Engineer. "I wanted to produce the next J.
Geils Band or Styx. Then, I started hanging with my College radio crowd. That was too much
fun! Former WABC Engineer and Producer LeRoy Aiken was their Professor and they were
always laughing. I really strayed from my biology..should have gotten that sheepskin too."

"WIPS Ticonderoga was the first station to let me host their morning show. My first
benchmark: at 7AM the company catlle would slowly plod onto the field where the station was
located to graze the back 40.". I would open the studio door to the LOUD sound of MOOOOOO
and on air give the Hellooo Girllllss it's 7 O'Clock at WIPS.<in my best George Michael from
WABC voice> Who knew years later I would fall in love with the Horse Sport called "cutting"
with the National Cutting Horse Association. Its all about the cows. "

After being teamed with Scott Evans <still with WXTU Philly> Harmon and Evans became the
first Morning Duo to win the CMA Personaility of the Year Award while they spent nearly 10
years at the powerful KPLX Dallas-Ft. Worth.

Harmon recently took on the rebuilding project at KODJ Salt Lake City..a new team, Classic Hits
format, and a fun new city near the worlds great ski slopes! Before that, Harmon spent 4 years
with KFWR Fort Worth. The project there? To build and maintain a radio station for the WEST
side of the huge Fort Worth Dallas Market. It is now a very successful small business model
and the company continues to grow!

Since working with Kidd Kraddick in 1995 Harmon has been a part of www.Bitboard.com. Kidds'
idea was to have morning shows from all over the USA working together on ideas that bring
their respective stations fresh, unique content. It is now the Leading Morning Show Prep
Service in the World. Steve is married, wife Becky, son Graham, dog Jake and works Morning
Drive at KODJ-Salt Lake City..a new team, new ideas the same fun!
